From the Founder of Mission 911

Our hope at Mission 911 is to provide those struggling in poverty with help by giving them an opportunity to become more successful individuals in our community. We have a great team working with guests in our new case management program, utility and rental assistance, and community outreach events.

Our new case management program provides guests holistic case management to break the cycle of poverty by providing vulnerable families and individuals access to mental, social, and emotional health  resources through the utilization of case workers and strategic community partnerships. While our existing utility and rental assistance program provides guests the opportunity to have their immediate rental and utility needs met to help individuals and families stay in their homes and prevent a loss of services. In 2022 alone, we provided over $256, 000 of assistance to vulnerable families to help meet their utility, rental, and transportation needs. 

Established in 2000, Mission 911 has a rich history of working with people in need in our community and I believe that this experience and the dedicated work of our team  will strengthen our community. As we move away from housing and continue to grow our case management program, Mission 911 is in the design phase of renovating a new operating space to expand our program capacity and accelerate our organization’s growth and impact in the Coastal Bend. 

I am personally inviting you to partner with Mission 911 as we pursue this new vision. Even though we have existing funding partners, we would love to include you. We are in the midst of a capital campaign for our new building renovations as well as raising funds for operations and we would love to present opportunities to individuals and local businesses in our community to make an impact through Mission 911’s work.
