Maybe you know me?
Hi. Maybe you know me. I walk the streets. I work. I live sometimes under a tree or under a bridge anywhere I can find to lay my head to sleep. I walked around with many masks to hide the way I feel. I sometimes use drugs or beer, wine, whisky, anything to hide the pain. I really am tired of living this life. I wake up and I say to myself I’m not going to live this way anymore, but I lie to myself again. What do I do, what do I do?
I found this place, Mission 911, where life is different. This place that I found is a place where there is peace, love, hope, new direction for my life. In this place they have food, shelter, hope, love, and even some animals for me to share my time with. They talk about this man named Jesus Christ. It’s him that makes them feel like they have a new life. They were very much like me with no direction in life but they gave their life to him and now their life is different.
How could this happen? How could your life just turn around? Observing I found out they read and sing praises to Jesus Christ. Its wild once you let go and start reading the bible and singing praises to Jesus Christ you start to feel different. Something inside is telling me not to but the more I sing and the more I read I feel different. I feel joy, confident, like a new me. This is great. I started to read the bible daily, even study it. I’m now praying, which is like talking about my needs my desire to change my lifestyle to this man Jesus Christ. I even pray about others and hope they feel this joy I have. I want to help people now and think less about what I need. I want to work so I can share the earnings to spread the word about Jesus Christ. I want everyone to experience what I’m feeling. But you know this is not just a feeling it’s a way of life for me now.
The wild part about all this is that I did not choose this. It was chosen for me. The more I live for Jesus the more I want to stay with him. I still have a lot of things to straighten out in my life but with Jesus He is just making it easier. Man if I would of only of just listen earlier when ever I went inside a Chapel or Church I might have had a different life. But now that I have Christ in my life I will have this love and peace forever even after I die. I will have a chance the bible says to be with him. When I’m with him I’m going to ask a lot of questions. Because he did something in my life that made me feel free and just want to live right.
Do you want this life? All you have to do is say I’m yours Jesus. Believe in him and follow his teachings. It might my be hard at first but the more you believe and have faith in Christ the easier it will be for you. Just believe and be my brother or sister in Christ. Let’s experience this life of Christ together.
