A Journey By James

Often times what the men that stay here need most is a good example to see. James came to stay with us in August 2019. He is a traveling missionary, and he biked all the way from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a little tired and ready for some much needed rest and relaxation. James quickly got a job washing dishes at a nearby café and went to work every week. James was known for keeping a positive attitude, and he did it while living in the same environment as the rest of the guys.
He displayed an example of a man that trusted God for all his needs while going to work, day after day, at a humble job. James played an important role during his 14 months here at the Mission. He left us Friday morning, October the 16th, to continue the journey the Lord has for him.

Coming up fast is the Annual Day of Giving on November the 12th. The Coastal Bend Community Foundation is matching up to $22,000 per organization for local non-profits. So all donations will be essentially doubled. This is one of our biggest fundraisers, so we need your help.
