TXU Energy, Corpus Christi Mission 911, and Community Partners of Robstown Hosting Fan Distribution Event

Event will help families in need of assistance to “Beat the Heat”

Corpus Christi, TEXAS — July 19, 2023 — With summer heat putting additional strain on the most vulnerable Texans, TXU Energy is teaming up with Mission 911 to provide relief. 

TXU Energy is donating $5,000 to provide fans for Corpus Christi-area households in need.

On Tuesday, July 25, volunteers will distribute more than 250 box fans to those in need.

The donation is part of TXU Energy’s signature Beat the Heat program, which is celebrating 25 years of helping thousands of Texans stay safe and cool. Through the program, TXU Energy partners with community service organizations across the state to help Texans stay cool and to promote heat safety awareness and energy conservation.
