Thank You For A Successful Year Of Giving Back

2021 was a blessed and challenging year. For that reason we would like thank you for your support and prayers. Thank you for gifts and love for others. Here is a recap of what Mission 911 accomplished in 2021.
This past year we achieved our goals of helping others that were struggling with poverty. We were also able to educate the volunteers and sponsors about poverty. Here are some of the ways this grant was beneficial:
1.We were able to help people with electric and water bills despite the pandemic.
We also continued to help over 800 people with clothing and furniture. 2. We helped over 625 citizens that were affected by the freeze of 2021. (FEB-May)
Thank you for the $30,000 from MHM, and other businesses that contributed over $60,000!
3. We helped 200 citizens in July with fans and meals for the beat the heat program.
4.We served 250 thanksgiving meals to homeless and people in poverty. 250 blankets were also given out.
5.We started to take residents in November. We also started AA classes on Fridays.
6. Handed out gifts to kids along with $10,000 worth of cards($50 Walmart gift cards). Handed out 100 Christmas trees. 400 meals.
7. We were blessed with a caseworker intern for six months. Which led to a caseworker by Methodist Healthcare this year.
8. We received a Grant to update our website.
So, I would say we had a pretty successful year with even the struggles of Covid.
“ Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
